The unit is a scientific facility hosted by the Faculty of Science and funded by the Research Department.  RSPU is equipped with a wide range of cutting-edge instruments from different scientific fields including chromatography, spectroscopy, biotechnology, crystallography, element analysis, optical measurements, lasers and optics, and thermometry.  It provides full services for research to the academic community in Kuwait.
RSPU’s instrumentation facilities provide access to specialized equipment necessary for research in chemistry, biology, engineering, physical medicine, and related disciplines.  It currently has several ongoing projects.
