I am an Assistant Professor of Developmental Genetics in the Animal Biology program at the Department of Biological Sciences, College of Science at Kuwait university since 2009. I am currently an academic staff teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in General biology, Genetics and Developmental Genetics and the director of the Biotechnology center (BTC), College of Science. My research productivity earned several scientific awards including:

1. Third place poster winner in the Third Scientific Research Conference at Kuwait University, 2024.

3. Second place poster winner in the Third Scientific Research Conference at Kuwait University,

4. First place winner of Prof. Ahmed Al-Bustan Academic Excellence Award for the outstanding

research presented during the International Conference of Biological Sciences (ICOBS) at Kuwait

University. 2023.

6. First place poster winner in the First Scientific Research Conference at Kuwait University, 2022.

7. Third place poster winner in the Third Scientific Poster Day of 2010 at Kuwait University.
