I’m currently an associate professor of biochemistry at Kuwait University (KU). I started my scientific career at KU with a BSc and a PgDip in Biochemistry. I worked as a researcher in the College of Life Science at KU for 3 years. Following this, I began my specialization in brain biochemistry with an MSc in Neuroscience from University College London (UCL), one of the top prestigious universities in the world. As UCL is a world-leading center for Neuroscience research, I decided to continue my studies there to receive a PhD in Neuroscience specializing in the biochemistry of neurons. During that time I worked with multiple Neurochemistry research teams in both Great Ormond Street Hospital’s Institute of Child’s Health (GOSH-ICH) and Queen Square National Hospital for Neurology in London, UK.
