About the Program 

The Department of Physics at Kuwait University offers a Master of Science program designed to prepare students for careers in university teaching, scientific research, advanced technology industries.

 Admission Requirements (2026/2027)

Academic Requirements

Minimum GPA: 2.67

TOEFL Score: 500

IELTS Overall Score: 6.0 
Minimum total score is 6.0 and all skills must be at least 5.5.

Accepted Degrees
  • Bachelor of Science in Physics or Physical Engineering.
  • Bachelor of Education majored in Physics (Intermediate or Secondary).
  • Bachelor’s degree in any major with a minor in Physics.
